I have many art books and have read them but after a trip to the library and snatching up a sketching book, i began reading it and i must say it was the first that i couldn't put down. I was like, i need to buy this book:) Dont think i can find it her in Cape Town, i hope that i will be able to.

It was so interesting and so helpful plus there are 38 or so projects for you to do.

This is just a watercolour experiment, my bible (yes, its pink) was lying on my shelf and i thought that i should just give it a try and do my best:)

For Illustration Friday

This is the Bear i thought of for 'Safari'

I love the fact that they are So Big and Hairy:) Bears have got such cute Faces.

I had an idea of listing all the things He would need for His Safari trip. Its not finished yet, i will be adding more to his 'Back Pack' and sketching more on Him, adding more hatching, fur etc:)

I'm really enjoying exploring my style more in depth. Its made me consider and think of many things of how i like to draw and what i like in my drawings. I really love using lots of Lines some being loose and soft while others more structured.

I believe you can tell Alot about How and What people draw:)

Happy Birthday!

Yesterday, I really wanted to give it to her but. .

My willing to 'Add this and change that' took over :) Definitely for a good cause though! I believe that you should be a tad bit hard on yourself and be at least 90% happy with what you've done:) Lol

The Bear and The Bunny ;)

'I'm afraid that i can't find my way back to my house, Mama will surely be worried. . . I stay close to the river that is surrounded by colourfull trees. Kind bear do you perhaps know the way to my home?'

Experiment sketch of Duckling :)

I started out with this little Duck and kind of just left it there cos i wanted to try out this new watercolour thats already mixed with water.

When trying the colours out at the Art shop, they were so bright and were different from the tubes. The purple and the orange are the colours that i bought. Just to experiment with. . I quite like them, it was easy to use and if i wanted it lighter i just added more water. Hmmm. . .
