The story line & the images of this picture book has change Alot! So i'm puting up how it looked before because i am currently working on brand new images & plot at the moment. I will be uploading some of the NEW work once I've done more!♥

Sketching!!

1# Just been sketching alot lately. I am at the moment working on some personal work of my own, but the process leading up to that is taking longer than i thought, but all's good:) Excited to get started. 

2# Been experimenting a lot too, its Awesomely Messy Lol. Ideas are going crazy, trying new things are always fun, even though it takes a while & some things don't turn out the way you plan - it's just a process of getting deeper in discovery!!:D

3# My room needs a little bit of a clean up - my sisters dog rummaged my bin again! Haha:)

1# Illustrating Children's Picture Books

After phoning Exclusive Books & them telling me that it'll take 10 days for it to arrive, i was eager to get it but then totally forgot about it. Then two days ago they phoned, EEEEkk!! I was So Excited! i have SO many Art books but No children's illustration books & although this was pricy. . It was worth the buy:) To think of it, it would've been abit cheaper to have ordered it from Amazon.com .

Definitely going to be buying More books like this:) 

If any of you have any suggestions on some good ones, Please leave me a comment:) 

So now, i'm busy ready it & getting some Amazing knowledge on the industry etc.

This is my bird so far, i'm real happy with the how the colours came out etc Just thinking of the book, cant make out what it says Haha! & it does say something. Have to do something about that. This is a project & well, sometimes you gotta do things you haven't done before:) As you can see from all my other work that i use INK with everything, i think its just that book that i did that wasn't. .But there was something about this assignment that got me thinking. .

i really think its how free you let your hand be. You basically throwing little pieces of who you are out on your pages. . although its what i personally think. . it sounds pretty awesome. 

Look i got up nice & early to get finished with it:) 

Its been a blast! No pressure, just fresh lines & paint 

but from your perspective what do you think? 

Is there any areas that i should or can touch up on?

Watercolour experiment

I have many art books and have read them but after a trip to the library and snatching up a sketching book, i began reading it and i must say it was the first that i couldn't put down. I was like, i need to buy this book:) Dont think i can find it her in Cape Town, i hope that i will be able to.

It was so interesting and so helpful plus there are 38 or so projects for you to do.

This is just a watercolour experiment, my bible (yes, its pink) was lying on my shelf and i thought that i should just give it a try and do my best:)
