Best friends enjoying each others company:

My latest done illustration: Been working on sketching so much more though. Its chill time and sketching is best for that. Mr cow in the corner is peeking out from under his day time snooze catching a scene of his best friend trying to balance an apple on his head:) Still working on my portfolio and such but excited to say that my book case will slowly be coming up, because i so badly need one. If only you knew how many books i have! And I'm only going to just be adding more to it. 

Looking forward to adding some Alice In Wonderland illustrations here too. I'm not one for too many words, but I'm real excited to get going with it:)

Spider Sketching for my Studies:

 So while trying to draw scary: I made up this image of a spider balancing or, trying to balance, on a ball.

Staring spider: Getting the eyes right.

Assignment requires me to draw something scary- I for one am the cute and cuddly type, Haha. Definitely feel the challenge of doing something like this. 

Came up with a scary clown spider, i was like i'm so going to draw some Cute spider clowns soon! This has to be just black n white, which i want to do in Ink. 

I best get back to THINKING, DRAFTING, SKETCHING,  

How to add scary to a picture, any advice on that?

Sketching!!

1# Just been sketching alot lately. I am at the moment working on some personal work of my own, but the process leading up to that is taking longer than i thought, but all's good:) Excited to get started. 

2# Been experimenting a lot too, its Awesomely Messy Lol. Ideas are going crazy, trying new things are always fun, even though it takes a while & some things don't turn out the way you plan - it's just a process of getting deeper in discovery!!:D

3# My room needs a little bit of a clean up - my sisters dog rummaged my bin again! Haha:)

1# Illustrating Children's Picture Books

After phoning Exclusive Books & them telling me that it'll take 10 days for it to arrive, i was eager to get it but then totally forgot about it. Then two days ago they phoned, EEEEkk!! I was So Excited! i have SO many Art books but No children's illustration books & although this was pricy. . It was worth the buy:) To think of it, it would've been abit cheaper to have ordered it from Amazon.com .

Definitely going to be buying More books like this:) 

If any of you have any suggestions on some good ones, Please leave me a comment:) 

So now, i'm busy ready it & getting some Amazing knowledge on the industry etc.

Project sketches: Bird in Colour ♥

This is my bird so far, i'm real happy with the how the colours came out etc Just thinking of the book, cant make out what it says Haha! & it does say something. Have to do something about that. This is a project & well, sometimes you gotta do things you haven't done before:) As you can see from all my other work that i use INK with everything, i think its just that book that i did that wasn't. .But there was something about this assignment that got me thinking. .

i really think its how free you let your hand be. You basically throwing little pieces of who you are out on your pages. . although its what i personally think. . it sounds pretty awesome. 

Look i got up nice & early to get finished with it:) 

Its been a blast! No pressure, just fresh lines & paint 

but from your perspective what do you think? 

Is there any areas that i should or can touch up on?

Sketch of my Budgie

This is Valiant I ♥

I beleive naming things are important. So i gave him a name that He would like out to be :)

Valiant means Courageous, Fearless. . 

He's really Loving. . And you'll be seeing more of him on here!

a fresh start all because of a Budgie

Yup, I've recently got a new addition to my room a Baby Budgie. . He is SO Beautiful and has brought on alot of Inspiration. I had to do research on him . .I did speak to the shop owner but i wanted to know more. They are Super intelligent and you can Train them which was a huge YIPPEE! for me. He has gotten used to his new home and i went to get him his Cage and some Toys today! He so active and does the funniest things, Hope that i can catch a quick sketch of it.

These past days. .

1# I've done a lot of thinking 

2# spent some time with my pencil and ink pens

3# Learning as much as possible

7# Making lists

1# I've been taking Library books out to study Animals

2# I've Built up a good reference wall in my room

IF: Swept

This is for Illustration Friday this week. Sorry that i only managed to get a sketch in. It lead to a Great idea, i can tell you that:) I've just had so much things happening, well, ideas and studies. This took me a while, i'm happy with the it and excited that the view on this picture is different to the rest. Just not entirely sure on his expression, he looks abit angry and thats Not what i was going for:) Would like to hear your view on his expression.

I really want to upgrade my portfolio:) This is just the Beginning
